Hearing the words “it’s cancer” can be a life changing event.  So many new thoughts, questions, feelings and emotions are likely-sometimes all at once. And not only for the one diagnosed but for the family.

If you have received a cancer diagnosis and are living in the North County San Diego area we are here to offer support for you, your family and those closest to you, amid your cancer journey.

Cancer Support Fellowship is a help for those experiencing cancer.

Cancer touches more than just the patient. It affects entire families and sometimes beyond.

Our goal is to provide a safe space to discuss how the illness, related treatments, and the feelings that come with them, are impacting those diagnosed and those who care for them.

By meeting together, we seek to share experiences not easily discussed with others in our lives unfamiliar with the effects of a cancer diagnosis.  We also look to build community and form relationships among attendees to aid in coping and processing their feelings.

Cancer Support Fellowship wants to help.

Cancer Support Fellowship is a ministry of Community Lutheran Church in Escondido. We have two campuses-In Escondido and in San Marcos near California State University San Marcos.

Listen

Our goal is to provide a space for those with cancer to share as they wish with others traveling a similar journey.

Provide Support

All are welcome-no faith or church affiliation is required.

Empower & Inspire

We share hope, encourage resilience and pray for all who attend.

Our Efforts Support Families Facing Cancer

We provide a safe space for discussion with in-person meetings.

We are a volunteer based group and we offer this free-of-charge.

We are not affiliated with any medical organization. We do not offer medical advice and do not endorse treatment recommendations of any kind.
